The first industrial machine arriving at Norra AM’s facility, a major milestone in building the company’s additive manufacturing production capacity.
With the successful MJF 5600 installation, we are taking a significant step toward establishing a scalable and reliable production environment. The delivery includes not only the core printing system but a fully integrated workflow designed for end-use part production. This milestone represents both operational readiness and a strong emotional achievement for the entire team.
The MJF 5600 installation is a deliberate choice to ensure high repeatability and consistent batch-to-batch performance. As our primary production system, it enables us to deliver reliable output at industrial standards while supporting continuous manufacturing demands. The integration of an automatic build switcher allows for a true 24/7 production flow, reducing downtime and improving throughput
In parallel, we are expanding our material offering through the addition of the EOS P110 Velocis system. This complementary setup enables greater flexibility and supports a broader range of applications. Together, these systems form a balanced production environment where efficiency and material diversity can coexist.

End-to-end workflow with advanced post-processing
A key part of the industrial 3D printer delivery is the investment in a comprehensive post-processing setup. By implementing a certified workflow, we ensure that every part meets the quality expectations required for end-use applications. This includes automated depowdering, advanced blasting, and surface finishing capabilities.
Our setup also includes state-of-the-art coloring solutions, with a primary focus on high-quality black finishes. These capabilities allow us to deliver parts with consistent aesthetics and functional performance. The result is a complete production chain that extends beyond printing into fully finished components.
From installation to operational readiness
The installation process involves detailed planning, hands-on training, and close collaboration with technology partners. While logistical challenges are expected, the onboarding support from HP, EOS, and Veston ensures a smooth transition into full operation. This phase is critical in building both technical competence and confidence within the team.
Reaching this first machine milestone is more than just a technical achievement. It reflects the commitment to building a high-performance additive manufacturing platform that serves regional industry needs. With the systems now operational, the focus shifts to scaling production and delivering consistent value to customers.
